La Mossa
Sangiovese made in a rosé style is particularly intriguing because it preserves the grape variety’s identity — its acidity, floral character and red fruit notes — while bringing them into a much fresher and more food-friendly expression. A characterful, elegant and gastronomic rosé, produced through a delicate vinification of Sangiovese grapes. The colour is pale pink to cherry pink, bright and luminous, while the aromatic profile retains the variety’s distinctive character, expressed in a fresher and more immediate style. Rosé vinification allows the fruity and floral components to shine, while at the same time softening the tannic structure typically associated with Sangiovese. In Romagna-style interpretations, notes of violet and small red fruits such as strawberry, raspberry, cherry and redcurrant may emerge.

- Tasting notes
- On the eye, pale pink, cherry pink or powder pink, bright and luminous. On the nose, fresh and delicate, with notes of wild strawberry, raspberry, crunchy cherry and redcurrant. On the palate, the wine is fresh, savoury and dry, with a beautiful acidic tension. Although light-bodied, it retains a distinctive personality and, above all, a pleasant persistence. The finish may reveal the characteristic slightly bitter nuance associated with the grape variety. Best served at around 8–10 °C, while avoiding serving it too cold: allowing a few extra degrees in the glass helps the fruit and floral notes express themselves more fully.
